Wah is a Burmese brand marketing strategist known for her expertise in marketing strategy, integrated marketing communication, and brand campaign development across advertising agencies, multinational FMCG brands, and sustainability-driven organizations.

Early Life

Wah was born on 7th June, 1995, in Yangon, Myanmar.

Academic Background

Wah’s educational journey reflects her long-standing commitment to marketing, business strategy, and leadership development.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Yangon University of Economics, building a strong foundation in business principles, consumer behavior and marketing strategy.

To deepen her expertise in marketing and communication, she pursued additional professional qualifications including Diplomas in Advertising and Consumer Behavior from the Institute of Commercial Management (UK) (Passed with Grade A) as well as a Diploma in Project Management (Passed with Grade A), strengthening her knowledge in brand communication, campaign planning, and project execution. She also completed a Group Diploma in Management Accounting from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UK) and a Certificate of Advertising Fundamental Course from the Advertising Agencies Association of Myanmar.

Wah further expanded her academic journey internationally by completing a Master in Management (Marketing) at Mahidol University in Thailand, where she developed advanced knowledge in strategic marketing, global business perspectives, and data-driven decision making.

Her education combines business fundamentals, marketing specialization and leadership development shaping her strategic approach to building impactful brands today.

Career (Marketing Agencies)

Wah began her career in the advertising industry in 2015 where she spent six years (2015–2021) gaining extensive experience working with both local and international commercial brands.

During her time in advertising agencies, she worked on integrated marketing campaigns, brand communication strategies, content development, social media management, large-scale events, brand activations and digital marketing initiatives. Her role also involved client servicing, project leadership, market and competitor research and cross-functional coordination with creative teams and external partners.

Working in fast-paced agency environments helped Wah develop strong skills in client management, campaign strategy, creative collaboration and project execution.

Through these experiences, she gained a comprehensive understanding of the full spectrum of marketing communications from identifying consumer insights and behavior to developing marketing communication strategies and executing creative experiential marketing initiatives and unique social media campaign strategies that help brands stand out in the market.

This early stage of her career shaped her ability to bridge both the creative and business perspectives of marketing, enabling her to design strategies that connect with consumers while driving brand growth.

Career Break

At one point in her professional journey, Wah took a one-year career break to pursue further academic growth and personal development. She moved to Bangkok, Thailand in 2021, to study Master of Management (Marketing) at Mahidol University, believing that strong input leads to meaningful output in professional growth.

This period allowed her to deepen her academic knowledge in strategic marketing while reflecting on her previous industry experience creating a stronger balance between theoretical insight and practical marketing expertise.

Living independently in a foreign country also gave Wah valuable life experience. It strengthened her adaptability, resilience and cross-cultural communication skills while allowing her to build international networks, collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds and gain broader global perspectives.

Rather than slowing down her career, this break expanded her perspective and reinforced her commitment to creating impactful marketing strategies.

Career Restart (Corporate Life)

After returning to the professional world, Wah transitioned into corporate marketing roles where she worked with multinational brands and sustainability-focused organizations.

While pursuing her master’s degree, she was selected for the ThaiBev Internship Program for ASEAN Students 2022 in Thailand, serving as an International Marketing Intern for Chang Beer. She was chosen from over 600 applicants, representing the top 5% of candidates, gaining valuable exposure to international brand marketing and regional business operations.

Shortly after completing the program, Wah joined ThaiBev Co., Ltd. in a Senior Brand Marketing role, working on beverage brands under the company and contributing to brand marketing initiatives in Myanmar. In this role, she was involved in marketing strategy development, campaign management, brand communication, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen brand positioning and market growth.

Following this experience, in 2024, Wah relocated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she joined a sustainability-focused organization as a Senior Brand Marketer. This role introduced her to new challenges and opportunities, allowing her to gain deeper insights into the Middle East market, sustainability-driven business models, and regional communication strategies.

Through her corporate journey across Thailand, Myanmar, and the UAE, Wah has broadened her perspective on how marketing strategies align with business objectives, operational processes, and long-term brand growth, while continuously expanding her global marketing experience.

Agency Career (2015 – 2021)

Wah began her professional journey in the advertising industry at Havas Advertising Agency Myanmar as an Account Executive in Advertising & Client Service. During this early stage of her career, she gained hands-on experience in client servicing, campaign coordination, and brand communication while supporting integrated marketing campaigns for commercial brands.

Working closely with creative teams, media planners, and production partners, Wah was involved in executing marketing campaigns across TV, radio, digital platforms, PR activities, and on-ground activations. This role introduced her to the operational side of advertising agencies and helped her understand how marketing ideas evolve from concept development to campaign execution and reporting.

Azuri Creative Agency

Wah later joined Azuri Creative Advertising Agency as a Senior Client Service Executive, where she expanded her experience in account management, campaign strategy, and digital marketing communication.

In this role, she managed multiple aspects of marketing communications including Social Media Management, influencer campaigns, copywriting, campaign management, ATL and BTL project management, marketing communication planning.

She worked on campaigns for several well-known brands such as Nestlé, Sunkist, MPT, Samsung, Lilly’s Seasoning Powder.

Among her key projects were Nestlé “Bear Brand Cereal Product Launching Events” and “Grow Happy Journey with Lactogen 3 Myanmar Events,” which were successfully organized across seven major cities in Myanmar. She also managed monthly social media and influencer campaigns for Sunkist collaborating with more than 20 well-known Myanmar celebrities between 2017 and 2018.

Wah later joined 360Pintale’ Advertising Agency as an Assistant Account Manager, where she took on a leadership role in managing integrated marketing campaigns for multinational FMCG brands.

She led 360° marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital platforms and brand activations for clients including Oishi Green Tea, Nestlé, Colgate Palmolive and TaoKaeNoi Seaweed Brands managing projects from client briefing and strategic planning to creative development and campaign execution.

Her responsibilities included business pitches, large-scale events and experiential marketing initiatives, influencer campaigns, social media strategy, and cross-functional coordination with creative, media, PR, and production teams.

Through these experiences, Wah developed strong expertise in integrated marketing communications, consumer insight-driven strategy and creative brand storytelling, enabling her to deliver marketing initiatives that combine strategic thinking with practical execution.

Corporate Career (2022 - Present)

After completing her postgraduate studies, Wah began her corporate marketing journey with Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), one of Southeast Asia’s leading beverage corporations.

Prior to joining the company, she was selected for the ThaiBev ASEAN Internship Program, chosen from over 600 applicants representing the top 5% of candidates, where she worked on international marketing initiatives for Chang Beer.

Following the program, Wah joined the company’s Brand Marketing team, working on beverage brands within the Myanmar market. In this role, she led 360° brand marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, retail, and activation channels, helping strengthen brand visibility and consumer engagement.

Her responsibilities included campaign strategy development, agency collaboration, trade marketing alignment, and performance tracking, ensuring that brand activities were aligned with both consumer insights and commercial objectives. She also worked closely with cross-functional teams including sales, insights, procurement, and trade marketing to support product launches, promotions, and nationwide marketing initiatives.

This experience strengthened her expertise in brand strategy, integrated marketing communications, and large-scale campaign execution within multinational corporate environments.

After relocating to Dubai, Wah joined Imdaad LLC  as Operation Specialist, one of the UAE’s leading integrated facilities management companies, to gain on-the-ground operational experience within a large-scale corporate environment while adapting to the Middle East market.

During this period, she worked on operations supporting projects within the Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo Village ecosystem, where service quality, operational efficiency, and customer experience were critical.

Her role involved coordinating cross-functional teams, managing operational workflows, resolving customer concerns, and supporting internal reporting and service improvement initiatives. Working within this operational environment allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of service delivery systems, operational processes, and stakeholder coordination in large organizations.

This experience broadened her professional perspective beyond marketing, strengthening her ability to understand how operational excellence, customer experience, and brand perception intersect within complex organizations.

After gaining valuable experience in the Dubai market for one year, Wah transitioned back into her core expertise in brand and marketing strategy.

She currently works as a Senior Brand Marketing Strategist at Ehfaaz, a circular economy and sustainability-focused company in Dubai. In this role, she leads the company’s overall brand and marketing efforts, including brand strategy and positioning, digital marketing, social media strategy, and integrated marketing communications.

Her work focuses on communicating the company’s mission of sustainable resource recovery and circular economy innovation, translating complex environmental initiatives into clear, engaging, and impactful brand narratives.

By combining her experience in international brand marketing, operational exposure, and sustainability-driven business environments, Wah continues to build marketing strategies that connect business impact with meaningful environmental change.
